As you paddle, you may spot birds, turtles, fish, and other local wildlife while gliding through lush natural surroundings. When you arrive, our friendly local team will provide basic instruction, safety tips, and route recommendations before you head out on the water. Please note: Some paddling experience is recommended due to occasional motorboat traffic and changing wind conditions on Lake Dora. Frequently asked questions

Our paddle route is approximately 2.5-3 miles total in length. The average paddler can paddle this is about 2-3 hours. **If you plan to stop at Fish Camp (waterfront restaurant on Lake Eustis) we would recommend a 4-hour paddle rental, so you are not rushed at the restaurant.

Some experience is recommended due to motorboat traffic and varying wind conditions on Lake Dora. We give our paddle board lessons on a smaller lake in the area with advance reservations. Please give us a call at 352-217-5012 if you would like to schedule a paddle board lesson.

Comfortable clothing, sunscreen, hat, and water bottle for hydration.

If weather conditions are unsafe (lightning, high winds, etc.) we will contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund.

Things to know

This is a self-guided paddle

You'll be exploring at your own pace, so basic paddling experience is recommended.

Timing Matters

On weekends, the motorboat traffic can get heavy, so we recommend launching early for the best experience through the Dora Canal.

Age Requirement

Due to the size and stability needs of our paddle boards, SUP rentals are recommended for guests 12 years and older to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel 24 hours or more in advance – Receive a full refund minus a $5 flat cancellation fee. Cancel less than 24 hours in advance – Receive a 50% refund. Cancel on the day of your reservation or no-shows – No refund will be issued.
