Celebrate Independence Day with an unforgettable evening on the water at our annual 4th of July Paddle Bash & Cookout—a beloved Adventure Outdoor Paddle tradition now in its 4th year!
We’re gathering at our beautiful, spring-fed private lake in Tavares, where you’ll enjoy a relaxed setting that’s perfect for paddling, connecting, and making memories. This year, we’re bringing back the community potluck—a fun and casual way for everyone to contribute a dish and enjoy a delicious, shared cookout before we hit the water. Bring your favorite summertime side, dessert, or grilled dish to share!
After dinner, we’ll launch our paddle boards and kayaks at sunset for a festive float under the stars. Every guest receives complimentary American flags, glowsticks, and sparklers, and we’ll light up the lake with red, white, and blue as we cruise into the night.

Yes! We welcome BYO paddlers. Just be sure to arrive by 8:00 PM to check in, set up, and be ready to launch by 8:30 PM. A life vest is required for all BYO guests.
While we love the community spirit, we do ask for a $15 suggested donation to help cover event costs—like glow gear, fireworks, food, safety staffing, and more. This support helps us continue hosting this special event each year!

Absolutely! This is a relaxed, guided paddle on a calm private access lake. Great for first-timers, couples, and families alike.

Bring a favorite side, main, or dessert to share! We’ll kick off the cookout at 7:00 PM—appetites encouraged.
Glow Gear Provided
We’ll have American flags, glowsticks, and sparklers ready for all guests. Feel free to bring extra glow to deck out your board or kayak! Just keep the decorations eco-friendly so they don't end up in the beautiful lake.

After dropping off equipment at 31306 Saunders, please park on Lake View Street (the access road to the address).
